Family Services of the North Shore Foundation is a registered charity mandated to provide financial support for the programs of Family Services of the North Shore. The Foundation is dependant on the generosity of organizations and individuals in the community for continued financial stability; we annually fundraise close to 38% of Family Services’ budget. This ensures that affordable, professional education, counselling and volunteering programs remain accessible to our North Shore community. All financial support is tax deductible.
Financial contributions can be designated to support a particular program, such as:
- Christmas Bureau
- I hope family centre, or
- FSNS programs in greatest need.
Family Services of the North Shore Foundation also welcomes planned giving and would be pleased to provide you with information about how to leave a legacy for families of the future.

Ways to Help Build a Safe, Strong Community
There are a variety of ways you can make a difference.
Give a gift from the heart and make a bequest to the Foundation in your will or call us for more information.
Write a cheque or use your credit card to support our programs and or the FSNS Foundation. Financial contributions can either be designated to support a particular program such as the I hope family centre or directed to programs of greatest need.
Underwrite the cost of one of our events and ensure that every dollar raised is returned to our programs.
Sponsor the cost of an agency program. To meet the needs of our community we have created Counselling programs like Safer Places which relay on donations from the community.
Sign up for a parent education course. Our website outlines the range of courses available whether you are parenting tots, teens or in-betweens.
