Cirque de Soiree - 24th Annual Winter Family Ball

On Sunday December 6, 2009 Family Services of the North Shore celebrated their 24th Annual Winter Family Ball with a traditional festive meal and dessert buffet that has become the trademark of this annual event (See North Shore News Bright Lights, December 30, 2009).

Held at The Fairmont Hotel Vancouver, Shawn Farquhar, a two-time world champion of magic and the Underground Circus entertained us with spectacular illusions and street entertainment, along with Jordan Zwicker, DJ extraordinaire who brought the crowd to their feet and the dance floor hopping!

We are especially grateful to our major donor TELUS, and our corporate sponsors North Shore Credit Union, Cisco, Odlum Brown, Contact Printing, Park Royal, our silent auction donors, volunteers and all of our guests for their support to ensure this evening was a great success.

Proceeds from the Winter Famil Ball and our silent auction will be directed towards our Safer Places for Teens program, providing counselling services to empower teens in today's environment and increase parent's ability to ensure teens make healthy choices.

Donate to our Silent Auction

Your donation will be acknowledged with a descriptive write-up in our catalogue and delivered to each guest prior to the event and also prominently displayed at the event. To ensure your donation is included in the catalogue, submissions must be received by October 15th.
