PROUD2BE LGBTQ2S+ Support
Everyone should feel safe, supported, and fully at home in our community. Whether you identify as queer, transgender, two-spirited, and/or questioning, or you’re the parent of a gender-diverse child or youth, we have programs and services to support you.
PROUD2BE Gender Identity and Sexual Orientation Conference (Virtual Event Series 2020-21)
Each fall we typically host the annual PROUD2BE conference, presented in partnership with West Vancouver Youth Services. This province-wide event brings together youth, parents, and service providers for activities, panel discussions, workshops, entertainment, and clinical services. It’s a thoughtful weekend designed to support and connect our diverse LGBTQ2S+, gender non-conforming and allied community, and is open to children, youth, and families.
This year, 2020-2021, we have adapted our in-person conference to a Virtual Event Series. Over four dates through late 2020 and 2021, we are hosting online events featuring topics, speakers, panel discussions, and experiences to continue to support and connect with families, youth, and service providers, until we are able to meet together in-person again.
