PROUD2BE LGBTQ2S+ Support
Everyone should feel safe, supported, and fully at home in our community. Whether you identify as queer, transgender, two-spirited, and/or questioning, or you’re the parent of a gender-diverse child or youth, we have programs and services to support you.
PROUD2BE Gender Identity and Sexual Orientation Conference
Join us each fall for the annual PROUD2BE conference, presented in partnership with West Vancouver Youth Services. This province-wide conference brings together youth, parents, and service providers for activities, panel discussions, workshops, entertainment, and clinical services. It’s a thoughtful weekend designed to support and connect our diverse LGBTQ2S+, gender non-conforming and allied community, and is open to children, youth, and families.
We recognize that not everyone can afford to attend a conference. For this reason, we have a limited number of bursaries available for families or individuals whose financial circumstances would otherwise prevent them from attending.
PROUD2BE drop-in groups for youth
If you’re aged 16-24 and identify as queer, transgender, two-spirited, and/or questioning, please join us for this free, weekly drop-in group. You’ll connect with other North Shore and Metro Vancouver youth in a safe space, with discussions led by an experienced counsellor. Share your experiences, ask questions, and explore your identity among people who are here to support you.
